Chief Tui's ceremonial outfit appears while Chief Tui is training Moana, and also when he is at village council meeting. The headdress is red and white with shells, a lot like, but not the same as, Matai's headdress. The shells are red, and there are red feathers as well. The headdress is worn using a band. Chief Tui's ceremonial outfit also has a staff.
Chief Tui also wears this headdress at the end of the film, on the boat at the end of the movie. The staff does not appear then, just the headdress.
