Moana's flower appears at the beginning of the movie when Moana is young. It is pink and is used to hold back her hair.
When the ocean restyles her hair, the flower appears at the tip of her hair, and when the ocean fixes her hair, the flower goes back to its rightful place on the left side of her head.
